Hannold Associates is proud to have partnered on the design of Heritage Financial Credit Union’s newest branch, now open in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania. This new location expands the credit union’s footprint into Pike County, reinforcing their commitment to financial accessibility and personalized member service throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

From the ground up, this project was designed to align with Heritage’s brand values—community, trust, and progress—while delivering an efficient and welcoming branch layout that supports both in-person banking and modern digital convenience.

A Design Focused on Member Experience

Branch design for today’s financial institutions is about more than counters and cash drawers. It’s about creating trust through transparency, designing for security without sterility, and offering a physical space that enhances the credit union’s digital-first tools.

The Dingmans Ferry location features:

  • Welcoming Front Lobby with clear sightlines and natural light

  • Branded Touchpoints throughout, including feature walls and signage that reflect Heritage's vibrant teal and navy color palette

  • Private Member Offices for consultations, lending, and financial guidance

  • Drive-Up Service Windows and ADA-accessible access points for convenient, inclusive service

  • Optimized Workflow Layout for staff operations and secure transaction areas

Whether members are opening accounts, discussing loans, or using the ATM, the space supports a modern yet approachable banking experience.

Our architectural strategy considered not only the brand identity of Heritage Financial but also the context and character of Dingmans Ferry—a rural community with strong local values. The building scale, materials, and façade were selected to fit into the natural landscape while providing strong street presence.

We worked closely with Heritage’s leadership, brand consultants, and construction team to ensure:

  • Efficient permitting and zoning approvals

  • Scalable design elements for future branch rollout

  • Durable materials for long-term performance

  • Energy-conscious systems for sustainable operations

Financial Accessibility with Local Heart

Heritage Financial Credit Union has served communities across New York and Pennsylvania for over 80 years. With the addition of the Dingmans Ferry branch, they bring their full suite of services—including savings, checking, loans, mortgages, and business banking—to a new area in need of local, member-first financial services.

Located conveniently along Route 739, this location strengthens their presence in Pike County while offering an essential community resource in a rapidly growing part of Northeastern PA.
